Does the Serverlift use hydraulics?
No, hydraulics may leak in time.
Can we use the ServerLift to move heavy racks and cabinets?
Yes, the ServerLift can assist with moving storage devices provided they are safely secured. Do not lift items over 500lbs.
Does the ServerLift work with raised floors?
Yes, the wheels are non-scuffing and roll smoothly over cords and grates.
Does the battery emit dangerous gases?
No, the gel battery is 100% sealed and the charger prevents it from being overcharged.
What size racks does the ServerLift work with?
While the ServerLift will work with almost all rack configurations, the unique sliding platform has been optimally designed to work with and slide into industry standard 19" racks.
Does the ServerLift fit through standard single doorways?
Yes, easily. In addition, the narrow 24" wheelbase allows for ultimate manueverablility.
How often should we charge the Serverlift?
Depending on use, you will need to charge the ServerLift every 1-5 weeks.
How does the unit charge?
It comes with a standard electronics power cord which you plug into the wall and store in the side of the unit.
Is a hand-crank model available?
We have determined that motorized lifting is the safest way to lift for both equipment and personnel. We have investigated introducing a hand-crank version and may offer one in the future.
