The unit is designed to load IT equipment from the side rather than the front for easier alignment and install. It features a side-shifting shelf which supports equipment during the transition from the platform into the rails of the rack. With an overall elegant and sleek design, the rugged platform is capable of lifting 500 lbs of IT equipment to a height of eight feet.
The SL-500X ServerLIFT is in compliance with all North American and European safety and radio frequency regulations. The SL-500X is certified and complies with:

- Yes, the ServerLIFT can be used to move switches, routers, UPS’s batteries and other rack mounted equipment. Do not lift items over 500 lbs. using the SL-500X
Does the ServerLIFT work with raised floors?
- Yes, the wheels are non-scuffing and roll smoothly over cords and grates.
Does the battery emit dangerous gases?
- No, the gel battery is 100% sealed and the charger prevents it from being overcharged.
What size racks does the ServerLIFT work with?
- While the ServerLIFT will work with almost all rack configurations, the unique sliding platform has been optimally designed to work with and slide into industry standard 19″ racks.
Does the ServerLIFT fit through standard single doorways?
- Yes, easily. In addition, the narrow 24″ wheelbase allows for maximum maneuverability.
How often should we charge the ServerLIFT?
- To maximize battery life, we recommend keeping the SL-500X plugged in and charging when not in use for extended periods.
How does the unit charge?
- It comes with a power cord which you simply plug into a standard (Type B for N.A. and Type G for International) wall outlet. The cord is easily stored in a convenient side pocket on the unit.
